Andrew is a highly experienced commercial lawyer and a sports lawyer. He is currently a commissioner of the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation, and is a director of Swimming Victoria.

He is a past president of the Law Institute of Victoria and a former director of Victoria’s peak regulator, the Legal Services Board. Until 2011 he was Chairman of the Victorian Liquor Licensing Panel.

For many years he was the main legal advisor for the AFL Players’ Association and the North Melbourne Kangaroos, and a former director of Netball Australia. Over the years he has been a frequent commentator on sports law matters in the media.

During a forty-year career in the law he has worked in a top tier CBD firm, worked for ten years in country Victoria and for 23 years was a partner and director of Moores.
