With over 18 million people passing through our doors each year, YMCA Victoria is one of the largest not-for-profit community organisations in Australia.
We operate 73 facilities, teach 61,067 children to swim, 46,801 people get active in our health clubs and 9,393 people have memberships to use our community pools.
Along with promoting health and wellness in Victorian communities, we are also the world’s largest and oldest youth organisation. For more than 30 years we have been working with Councils to achieve meaningful and measurable outcomes for young people and the community.
We aim to support Councils in the successful delivery of their Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plans, ensuring strategic alignment with the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan and compliance with the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.
Our partnership approach delivers opportunities that engage young people and the community both within and beyond the walls of the facilities we manage.
