The Y Victoria Mother of the Year Award is an initiative to celebrate the contribution mums make every day.

We aim to spotlight those who break norms and redefine parenting and hope to encourage a new appreciation of motherhood.

Mums and mother figures are all around us, not only in our families but in our local community groups, schools and workplaces. They build emotional connections, inspire dreams, resilience and character, teaching empathy and compassion, and guiding young people on the journey to independence.

It's about celebrating the mothers who inspire young people, harness their potential and encourage growth for them to become leaders of tomorrow.

It is time we celebrate these remarkable women and let their stories inspire us all.
