    Y Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation

    We offer a wide range of programs and services that support children and young people across their life cycle:

    • from early learning and kindergarten programs and teaching kids to swim
    • to empowering young people at our youth hubs and offering meaningful career pathways
    • to providing recreation and other supports for older Australians. 

    With over 5,100 staff and volunteers, we deliver programs and services at more than 150 locations every day, including Action Sports, Camps, Children's Programs, Recreation and Youth Services. We also offer spaces for hire to help bring communities together. 

    As a not-for-profit, all we receive is put back into improving our programs and services and into supporting local communities. Y Victoria has been supporting communities for more than 170 years. Our impact has changed the lives of thousands of young people and Victorians.

    We're part of the wider Y story and movement. In fact, the YMCA is one of the world's longest-running and largest youth-focused movements.

    Programs and services

    Action Sports

    Our skate parks provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to be active, engaged and empowered. Through our skateboard lessons, skate competitions, school programs and training workshops, we engage over 250,000 people every year.
    Camps

    We run camping facilities and programs for schools, community groups and families at seven different campsites across Victoria. Whether you're looking for adventure, outdoor education or team building – come summer sunshine or winter snow, we have a camp experience for you.
    Children's Programs

    We deliver fun, safe and affordable education and care programs to support children holistically throughout their early education. Our services include early learning, before and after school care, and school holiday programs.
    Recreation

    We manage aquatic, recreation and stadium facilities in partnership with local government. Our centres are a hub for the local community to get fit, keep healthy and stay social. We run health and wellness programs, swimming lessons, gymnastics and more.
    Youth Services

    We inspire and empower young people to build up their skills, connect with their community, and have their voices heard. We do this through learning and leadership programs, social impact initiatives and Y Spaces.

    Leisure management

    We manage and operate recreational facilities including gyms, aquatic centres and stadiums.
    School partnerships

    We run school holiday programs, outside school hours care, swimming lessons and school camps.
