    Y Victoria is headed by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Carolyn Morris, who leads a team of experienced Executive Officers and senior leaders.

    Carolyn and the Executive Leadership Team is informed and supported by a dedicated Board of Directors who operate in a voluntary capacity.

    Executive Leadership Team

    Carolyn Morris, Chief Executive Officer

    Carolyn joined the Y in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer, before becoming Chief Executive Officer for Y Victoria and Kingswim not long after. Carolyn has 15 years of experience leading corporate organisations spanning child care, aged care and retail banking, with multi-billion dollar turnovers. Carolyn was a Chief Financial Officer for five years both in Australia and the USA.
    Greg Jennings, Chief Operating Officer

    Greg became Chief Operations Officer at Y Victoria in 2023, after first joining the Y in 2006. Greg has experience working across the Y's diverse programs and services, previously as our Regional Development Manager and Executive Officer in Commercial and Business Development.
    Pauline McGillivray, Chief Transformation Officer

    Pauline joined Y Victoria in 2019. With extensive experience in the retail sector and now the not-for-profit sector, Pauline leads all areas of transformation including people, IT, procurement, strategy and planning.
    Peter Cargin, Chief Financial Officer

    Peter joined Y Victoria as our Chief Financial Officer in 2019. He has led the finance functions of various organisations spanning the travel, media and retail industries.

    Dan Coathup, Chief Risk Officer

    Dan is our Executive General Manager of Risk, Safety, Environment, Quality and Governance. He joined Y Victoria in 2008 and has many years of experience overseeing all of our sectors including Recreation, Camping, Youth Services, Children's Programs and more.

    Brett Reid, Chief People Officer

    Brett became Chief People Officer at Y Victoria in early 2022. Brett brings extensive HR experience as he leads Y Victoria's People Strategy across our multiple sectors, where we employ over 5000 people across 150+ sites.
    Nathan Costin, Chief Customer Officer

    Nathan joined Y Victoria in 2007. He has an established background in the recreation industry, having managed various recreation centres before becoming our Executive General Manager for Customer in 2020.
    Shane Riddle, Chief Information Officer

    Shane joined Y Victoria in 2020 to oversee our technology and strategy, becoming Chief Information Officer in 2022. His experience spans the IT, insurance, hospitality and charity sectors. In 2017, he was listed as a top 50 CIO by CIO Australia.

    Leisure Management Leadership Team

    Nadine Kemp, General Manager - Recreation

    Nadine has been an integral member of the Y Victoria team since 2007. Before overseeing our recreation teams, Nadine worked in various management positions including Area Manager at Active Moreland.
    Carly Sanders, Head of Product and Performance

    Carly has worked at the Y since 2008, starting out as a Centre/Area Manager before joining the leadership team.
    Paul McPherson, Head of Operations

    Paul joined Y Victoria in 2015. Before becoming Head of Operations for Recreation, he held various management positions across our recreation centres, including Peter Krenz Leisure Centre, Brunswick Baths, and Kew Recreation Centre.

    Children's Programs Leadership Team

    Katie Adams, General Manager - Children's Programs

    Katie Adams joined the Children's Programs leadership team in early 2024. Prior to this, she worked at Kingswim for 14 years in a number of management roles.
    Pip Davidson, Executive Manager - OSHC

    Pip has worked in the education industry since 2000 and joined Y Victoria in January 2024. As Executive Manager for Outside School Hours Care, she is responsible for the strategy, new business development and ongoing operational leadership of all OSHC services.
    Rachel Mackay, Executive Manager - Early Learning

    Rachel joined Y Victoria in February 2024. From beginning her career as an Early Childhood Educator, Rachel is an experienced leader of education programs and holds an M.Ed. in Educational Management.

    Camps Leadership Team

    Brendan Smith, General Manager - Camping and Youth

    Brendan has worked at Y Victoria since 2005 and has been our General Manager of Camping and Youth since 2016.
    Daniel Whykes, Head of Camps Operations

    Daniel first joined Y Victoria back in 2007 as a Program Coordinator at Lake Dewar and Lady Northcote Discovery Camps. Since then he has worked in various roles in the camping industry, and became Head of Camps Operations at the Y in 2023.
