Community spaces for hire

Located in the northern suburbs, Mernda Park Primary School has a range of spaces available for hire. Our facilities include a community hub, indoor and outdoor courts and a large outdoor sports oval including a soccer pitch.

Our community hub is a multipurpose space, making it ideal for anything from group exercise classes to community gatherings. Our indoor and outdoor courts are suitable for netball, basketball and more, while our sports oval is a flexible space perfect for cricket, football and soccer. We also have convenient onsite parking.

Whether you're looking for a venue for your sports team, community group or something else, we have a space for you.

Court hire

Indoor court

Our multipurpose indoor stadium features a single court suitable for basketball, netball, volleyball, group exercise classes and martial arts. The space includes electronic scoreboards, retractable basketball backboards, an adjustable height backboard suitable for junior or senior basketball, and heating.

Outdoor court

Looking for an outdoor court near you? We have two outdoor hard courts available for hire. Our outdoor courts are equipped with line markings and rings for basketball and netball, making them the ideal for team sports. You can also hire our outdoor courts for sports training, personal training and group exercise classes.

Sports oval and room hire

Sports oval

Our large outdoor sports field is a flexible open space that is ideal for various sporting activities. The space includes soccer nets and AFL goal posts as well as a permanent cricket pitch, making it an ideal location if you're looking to hire a football or cricket field for your team. The oval is also suitable for sports training and personal or group exercise.

Community hub

Our community hub is a multipurpose room equipped with eight tables and 40 chairs, a kitchenette, projector screen and heating / cooling. Suitable for 80 to 100 people, it's a great space to bring families and the community together for a wide range of activities – from business meetings and social gatherings to martial arts classes and group exercise.
