Whether you’re hitting the slopes with our clients or preparing delicious food for campers and clients, you’ll be helping us make sure everyone has a great camp and cross country ski experience. The upcoming Falls Creek winter season is anticipated to begin 9 June and conclude 12 September 2025 - subject to change based on weather. Onsite accommodation and/or an accommodation allowance may be discussed with successful candidates upon appointment.

Escape to the great outdoors with a job at Howmans Gap Alpine Discovery Camp, our alpine centre and adventure camp located by Falls Creek. We cater to schools and groups and offer various programs and activities – from skiing and tobogganing in winter to orienteering and mountain biking in summer.
Lead Cook
Lead Cooks undertake general cooking duties, including baking and pastry cooking, while ensuring that Kitchen Assistants are supported and guided through their day-to-day duties.
The role:
- Cook nutritious meals for campers
- Lead a small kitchen team
- Cater for dietary needs
- Keep high food safety standards

Located in our camp kitchen at Howmans Gap, Kitchen Assistants must be motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply initiative and work unsupervised if required.
